Exceptionally well painted which is demonstrated by the artists signature. What makes this lamp so unique is that most reverse painted lamps have one major scene and one secondary scene. This lamps is a mural, reverse painted on a lamp depicting castles, lakes, woods, people, horses. The lamp is featured in the Pairpoint book on page 122. Malakoff thought enough of this lamp to devote and entire page to it. The shade is over 20" and the lamp stands over 23" There are no chips, cracks or flea bites. The base has some wear consistent with its 90 years. |
