Duffner Kimberly Roman leaded lamp

Important early Duffner lamp that appeared in the original Duffner catalog. This is very important. The country went into a major recession shortly after (2 years) Duffner went into business. Therefore they had to cut back on the quality of both glass and workmanship. The first lamps produced were made to compete with Tiffany, and this is one of the examples. The lamp appears on page 189 of Paul Crist’s book on mosaic lamps. The diameter of the lamp is 16,” and it is 21″ tall. It is in excellent condition, and the workmanship and glass are fabulous.
